NEP Group Rebrands UK Services Division as NEP UK

NEP GROUP REBRANDS UK BROADCAST SERVICES DIVISION AS NEP UK

The NEP Group has rebranded two of its UK broadcast service divisions - NEP Visions and Roll to Record - under the collective title NEP UK, with Bow Tie Television to join the group later in the year. The brand will operate under the global NEP Broadcast Services unit, which also includes NEP Cymru, providing outside broadcast, fly packs, crews, RF, edit and project management services anywhere around the globe.

The rebrand emphasises the strength of the collective NEP business in the UK while aligning the group more closely with the global NEP brand. It does not involve any structural or organisational changes.

“The UK group has undergone a significant amount of change and growth in the past few years. The new NEP UK identity satisfies all of the existing expectations of what we stand for while simultaneously moving the brand forward to acknowledge the maturity, functionality and diversity of our business,” said Kevin Rabbitt, CEO, NEP Group. “Our clients work around the world, and we want to be identified across all borders and solidify our position in the marketplace as a world leader in our industry.”

The remit of the new broadcast services group encompasses outside broadcast, fly packs, crews, RF, edit and project management services. The brands now under the NEP UK brand are:

·    NEP Visions - the leading global outside broadcast provider, with over 30 years of experience covering high profile events from Wimbledon to Premier League football to horse racing to National Theatre productions
·    Roll to Record - the leading provider of robotic camera systems, semi-permanent studio installations and fixed rig format shows, with credits including Channel 4’s BAFTA-winning Educating… series, Love Island and Big Brother

Bow Tie Television will transition to the NEP UK brand later in 2016. Bow Tie is the premier managed services provider for Parliaments and Government Authorities in the UK, offering a full range of services to capture, broadcast, stream online or archive a complete record of formal proceedings and other events.

Steve Jenkins, President, NEP UK & Ireland, said, “The rebrand reflects our collective values and ambitions, and underlines the support available across the entire NEP Group. The only difference our clients will notice is a new logo – we will continue to execute all our projects, from fixed rig shows to parliamentary coverage to host broadcast services, with the same level of excellence and professionalism that our clients have come to expect.”
