"The Next Generation," led by McKinney, kicks of the two-part Super Session by exploring the "must-have" devices of the future, and the impact these devices will have on the distribution of content. McKinney will draw on his expertise as strategic planner, researcher and developer of the PC product lines at HP to project new trends and technologies influencing the media and entertainment landscape over the next five years. The session will also examine how the content itself will change and the current tipping point toward content creation techniques of the future. McKinney will be joined onstage by Ed Leonard, CTO of DreamWorks Animation, and The Bandito Brothers' Jacob Rosenberg. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how to take advantage of new opportunities brought about by these changes.

During the second part of the Super Session, titled "This Year's Gadget Buzz," Cooley will present a show-and-tell that will feature the latest technology tools on the market. Attendees will learn first-hand which devices will have an immediate impact on the content community, and which ones will continue to evolve.

"Media Devices in a Connected World" will be held from 2:30-4:00 in room S222 (South Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center).
