NAB Show 2017: The Dejero Recap

As many of you in the industry know, NAB Show is an exciting opportunity to see what's new in broadcasting and media technology. For us, it's a chance to share with attendees some of the exciting new solutions and product enhancements we've been working on for the past year. This year's show was one for the books. If you weren't able to attend, or if you did and need a reminder of all the awesome things we showcased this year, here is a short recap of what we shared at NAB Show 2017:

Making the EnGo Even More Versatile

Lots on the go with the EnGo. In addition to showcasing the new EnGo backpack, we also introduced the new EnGo Vehicle Mount Kit at NAB. It's an ideal accessory for news, sports, and live event crews wanting maximum versatility from their EnGo portable transmission system. The EnGo can be securely mounted in an SNG/ENG truck or small newsgathering vehicle and connected to rooftop antennas for increased cellular reception and resiliency. An array of rooftop antennas provides maximum signal reception for reliable video transmission. It also lets reporters broadcast live from the vehicle while it’s moving. Bonus!

Helping Newsrooms Find Credible Experts with ExpertFile Integration

Helping Newsrooms Find Credible Experts with ExpertFile Integration

In addition to the many updates and enhancements we've been making to our products, we also announced our partnership with ExpertFile at the start of NAB. This powerful new media collaboration now makes it easier than ever to find expert viewpoints and sources, saving reporters, assignment editors, and chase producers valuable time in the newsroom. And because seeing is believing, we had a demo station available at our booth for exhibition attendees to experience first hand how the integration works.

Dejero Gateway

Dejero Gateway

Making its official debut at NAB, the Dejero Gateway solution enables news crews to quickly transfer files back to the station and edit in the field with remote access to newsroom systems through public Internet and private networks. Leveraging our patented network blending technologies, the solution creates a virtual network of multiple IP connections with the necessary bandwidth and reliability to enable bi-directional data transfers from newsroom and production systems. The complete Gateway solution includes in-vehicle equipment, cellular connectivity services, cloud management, and support.
