MOG Technologies partners with Excelencia en Comunicaciones y Tecnología & DBE on Distribution of MXF Ingest Solutions in Mexico

Partnership with Excelencia and DBE

MOG, the leading and award-winning provider of MXF tools and workflow ingest solutions has established a partnership with both Excelencia en Comunicaciones y Tecnología and DBE - Digital Broadcast Equipment Inc., the leading representatives of the main brands and products for the Broadcast market in Mexico. Excelencia will have the responsibility for the sales and support of MOG's mxfSPEEDRAIL product line for the Mexican market.

MOG’s Ingest solutions have been helping the broadcast and post production community worldwide to accelerate their migration to file-based production. The mxfSPEEDRAIL reached the market last year and has already a large number of users across Europe and the American continent. Dozens of broadcasters from TV Anhanguera- Brasil (South America), to Canal+- Poland (North Europe), including some large post production houses and broadcasters like NDR in Germany, BBC in United Kingdom or TVE in Spain are already taking full benefits of this centralized ingest concept. The goal is simple: save time having the material immediately available in the editing stations.

The mxfSPEEDRAIL is already available in two line series that allow full control of the workflows and both with editing-while-capture capabilities: the F1000 model series aimed to ingest from MXF file-based camera manufacturers, MXF video servers and Archives directly to the editing storage and the S1000 model series aimed to record either live SDI/HD-SDI feeds or to record material coming from a VTR. The S1000 model flexibility provides a choice of video codecs such as: DNxHD, DVCPro HD, XDCAM HD as well as the SD DV and IMX, and has the ability to be controlled remotely and directly from the video editor station, without the need to equip the OB truck with an extra monitor, keyboard and mouse. Regardless of model, users will get full control over the record and ingest process either by an Internet browser or via a Media Asset Management System (through web-service interfaces). In addition, the S1000 will provide RS422 control protocol and simultaneous proxy generation to work as the perfect replacement for the newest decks and multi-resolution workflows in a finger-friendly interface.

“MOG Technologies strategy sets in the construction of strong partnerships with worldwide market key-players”, commented Vitor Teixeira, MOG Technologies Marketing & Sales Director. “Excelencia leading position, technical expertise and experience in the broadcast and post-production marketplace are a key to this partnership for the Mexican market”.

MOG Technologies will be showcasing the most innovative and comprehensive Ingest Solutions at Excelencia / DBE booth in Expo Video Cine Televisión tradeshow, Mexico D.F. Come visit us at booth E2 and be overwhelmed by the new multi-resolution features, as well as, by the more versatile compact and cost-effective models for both the S1000 and F1000 series.
