McMeen Joins High End Systems as Regional Sales Manager

Industry veteran brings technical savvy to East Coast position

Chris McMeen has joined High End Systems (HES), a Barco company, as Regional Sales Manager Eastern U.S. and Canada.

The industry veteran brings years of experience to his new position, much of it involving HES products. For the past six years, he was VP of Sales at Scharff Weisberg in New York, an HES authorized reseller. He spent eight years at another HES authorized reseller, the Boston-based High Output, finishing as Division Director of Theatre & Special Events.

McMeen’s experience as a technology-based sales professional allowed him to become a resource for lighting designers needing lighting and control for tours, television, film, concerts, video, themed entertainment, clubs and installs. Naturally, he’s excited to bring his relationships and knowledge base to his new position at High End Systems.

“I have knowledge of all feature sets of HES lighting and control products over the years, and the quality still stands out today,” McMeen said. “The industry can continue to expect innovation and quality, especially in the new product line coming up. Richard Belliveau continues to create lighting that creates effects unlike any other. As we move forward, HES will be a tough competitor. I’m excited about the future here.”
