Leading Manufacturers Offer Free Masterclasses and Hands-On Training

Visit Adobe, Avid and Sony at BVE 2012

Leading manufacturers, Adobe, Avid and Sony, will offer invaluable advice, information and hands-on experience to visitors at BVE and TPS (14-16 February 2012, Earls Court, London) with three full days of free-to-attend seminars and workshops.

Adobe will offer practical tips on creating CGI and motion graphics in After Effects, and will look at DSLR and mobile video in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop. On the audio side there will be sessions on audio sweetening in CS: Adobe Audition. In addition Adobe partners including Chyron, Film Partners and IPV will offer sessions on the integration of their tools into Premiere via Adobe's custom panel technology, while HP will be talking about the advantages of running CS on its platform.

Avid will be running hands-on training sessions for Media Composer 6 and Pro Tools 10 in conjunction with its Learning Partners Soho Editors, VET and Alchemea College. Video sessions range from an introduction to basic editing techniques through to effects editing and multicam editing, as well as the skills to build and work with a storyboard. Audio sessions will provide simple but effective techniques to enhance audio creativity with sound effects, and post-production mixing skills. Like all BVE seminars, these training sessions are free, but require tickets for entry. Tickets are available from the Seminar Registration desk located inside the hall from 09:30 on each day for sessions before 1pm and after 12:30pm for sessions in the afternoon. There will be a maximum of two morning and two afternoon tickets per person per day.
