John Ross Accepts the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal

Following the recent honour of being designated to receive the Order of Canada, John Ross, Founder of Ross Video, has now received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions as a technology innovator in the Broadcast industry.

On February 6, John received the additional medal at a formal presentation gala at Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

“The whole evening was a memorable and almost overwhelming experience,” said John. “I couldn’t help but be in awe of the many distinguished people who also received medals and who have done so much for this Nation. To be there and to speak with many of them really was a chance of a lifetime.”

About the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal
The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal was created to mark the 2012 celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne as Queen of Canada.
