Ideal Systems Singapore Announces Strategic Partnership With Evertz

The Evertz product line is already widely used in the region by content creators, broadcasters, specialty channels, and television service providers to support their complex multichannel digital and HDTV broadcast environments and by telecommunications companies to roll out IPTV.

The partnership will allow for a deeper level of local support and service, with Ideal's Singapore-based engineers being trained in Canada and the U.K. on the full range of Evertz products and solutions. In addition, the partnership will see a major increase in regional technology training through Ideal's Summer Seminars, a series of free workshops hosted in Ideal's purpose-built Broadcast Labs in Singapore. The Evertz product line is already widely deployed in South East Asia, and Ideal's aim is to enhance the services being offered to current Evertz customers while designing the full spectrum of Evertz products including infrastructure, monitoring and control, master control, channel automation, file-based playout, and advanced media asset management into turnkey solutions for new customers.
