Hamlet is starting its 25th anniversary year by meeting its many UK users at BVE2011. The demonstrations and discussions will centre on how you can monitor and maintain quality with affordable and easy to use tools from Hamlet.

“We are delighted to achieve our 25th year anniversary at BVE2011 where will be concentrating on three key areas, including a first chance to see our new range of grade one monitors, software solutions for automated quality control in file-based environments” said Steve Nunney, director of Hamlet. “We will also be showing our established cost effective baseband test and measurement instruments.

“All the equipment on show at BVE2011 has been developed in response to requests from real users, who told us that they understand the need to maintain the highest possible standards in acquisition, production, post and transmission,” Nunney continued. “They want uncompromised precision, they want intuitive user interfaces, and they want affordability. Exhibitions like BVE2011 are a great opportunity for us to spend time with our users, not just showing what we can offer them today but also discussing where their future plans lie so we can identify and refine products for the future.”

About Hamlet

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2011, Hamlet Video International Limited is a British company dedicated to the design, manufacture and supply of innovative, high quality and cost-effective test, measurement, monitoring and quality control equipment to the video and broadcast industries worldwide.
Hamlet has completely eliminated CRTs from its instruments, thereby removing the need for routine display recalibration and thus reducing significantly the cost of ownership of a precision instrument. With its latest devices using an all-digital internal platform, Hamlet has moved towards a calibrated-for-life test and measurement system.
Hamlet’s vectorscopes and waveform monitors either use an internal precision LCD display or provide an output to either a video or a computer monitor, which can be routed to the operator’s convenience. In either case the graticules are generated digitally within the device, so provides a continually reliable and accurate reference.
The company also develops test and measurement software to be used in conjunction with broadcast systems running on standard computers for the analysis of base band or file based signals. Finally, Hamlet manufactures digitally-stable signal generators as a companion to its measurement devices.
