Grass Valley Shows Advanced Solutions for Live Production and News Studios at CABSAT2016

Grass Valley, a Belden Brand will be in stand ZA2-30 at CABSAT showing its full range of cameras, switchers, replay, playout, multiviewers and more for live production and news studios. Visitors to the show, March 8-10 at the Dubai World Trade Center, will learn more about the trends that are shaping broadcast today, such as 4K and high dynamic range (HDR) content capture, the transition to IP-based networking and automated workflows.

Some of the newest products on display will include the GV Node IP Processing and Edge Routing Platform, which delivers a broadcast centric, real time, distributed edge routing and IP processing node that supports IP and SDI workflows with vertically accurate switching and integrated processing; GV Convergent, an IP router control and configuration system that transparently manages facility routing as the industry migrates from SDI to IP infrastructures; and the LDX 86 Universe, a camera system that offers “universal format” support with switchable 1X/3X/6X HD, 1X/3X 3G and 1X 4K as well as extended color gamut and a software upgrade to enable 15 F-stops of HDR in single-speed operation.

“The broadcast market in the Middle East is undergoing significant change, as it is all over the world,” observed Jan-Pieter van Welsem, vice president sales, EMEA, Grass Valley. “The Grass Valley portfolio is designed to give broadcasters the tools they need to embrace change and seize new opportunities that are arising as a result. From new demands in capture and editing to the IP transition and automated workflows, we will have something for everyone at CABSAT, and our experts will focus on helping attendees find the right solutions to meet their specific business needs.”
