EVS, the leading provider of live video production systems, held a seminar for Australia’s leading EVS operators while Japan’s leading broadcasters learned about the latest product innovations from EVS.

EVSheld a seminar for Australia’s leading EVS operators on Wednesday May 15 in Sydney. Presented by Dylan Cameron, operations manager at EVS Australia, the event focused on the latest product innovations introduced at NAB 2013.

Cameron highlighted the new tablet-based app LSM Connect, a companion to the MulticamLSM controller that makes it quicker and easier for operators to index, browse and select clips, and manage playlists. Operators were introduced to new editing and configuration features in EVS’ XT3 server.

The event also featured a post-production workshop on streaming workflows. The new XFly Streamer can stream an entire production with multiple camera angles to a portable storage platform to speed up recording for multi-camera OB productions and facilitate access to post production.

Photron presents EVS Harmonic seminar in Tokyo
Japan’s leading broadcasters learned about the latest product innovations from EVS at the EVS Harmonic Seminar which took place in Tokyo on Thursday May 23. Organized by Photron, EVS’ partner in Japan, the seminar focused on EVS’ studio ingest solutions integrated with Harmonic MediaGrid shared storage systems.

Photron presented new product features unveiled at NAB including EVS’ XS and XSnano servers for studio applications with support for XDCAM HD422 workflows. Attendees also learned about ingest control with EVS’ IPDirector suite of video production management applications, and the ability to edit during ingest using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Creative Suite.
