EVS Appoints New EMEA General Sales Manager and Business Development Manager

Quentin Grutman – General Sales Manager, EMEA
Quentin Grutman is taking over from Henry Alexander, EVS former EMEA General Sales Manager.Quentin will focus his activities on managing the EMEA sales network and on organizing operations. Quentin has extensive experience in EMEA sales & operations with large software companies, in particular Oracle where he worked for eight years in various international sales management positions. Quentin was Sales Director for Europe at Heartbeat Experts/Software which he joined in 2007 before moving to EVS.Quentin has a degree in General and International Management from HEC-Liège University and a Master in General Management (CEPAC) from Solvay Business School in Brussels. Quentin will be reporting to Pierre L’Hoest, EVS’ Managing Director and CEO.
Maximilien d’Oreye – Business Development Manager
Max d’Oreye, who has over 17 years of international experience in the broadcast and telecommunication industries, has been appointed EVS Business Development Manager.Max comes to EVS from Newtec, the Belgian manufacturer of satellite transmission equipment, which he joined in 1998. At Newtec he held various senior management positions including Vice-President of Marketing and, more recently, VP of the Professional Equipment Business Unit.Prior to that, Max was head of the European offices of Tiernan, an MPEG encoder manufacturer, as well as one of the company’s very first hires and a key systems engineer. Max has a degree in engineering from the Catholic University of Louvain-La-Neuve and a M.S. from San Diego State University. He is the holder of a number of patents and the author of numerous papers on television and transmission systems.Max’s activities as EVS Business Development Manager will include the setting up and management of its partnerships with the broadcast and technology industries. He will also be highly involved in EVS business development strategy and the company’s expansion towards new markets. Max will be reporting to Pierre L’Hoest, EVS’ Managing Director and CEO.
