Discover Enriched Live and New Market-Focused Solutions

EVS is introducing advanced tools and solutions for enriched live production at NAB 2013, booth #SL2416.

Discover how to optimize live production workflows with our new enriched live solutions based on the XT3 live video server and a new range of live browsing software and web-based remote production tools that stem from our powerful C-Cast connectivity technology.

The EVS Enriched Live solution combines existing infrastructure with practical innovations to help you maximise live content and make it instantly available across multiple, integrated workflows, from venues to the living room.

At the show, EVS will also present new features and updates in each of its four key markets - Sports, Entertainment, News and Media:

EVS Sports will introduce extended solutions to increase connectivity and facilitate remote collaboration from live venues to any sites, and unveil new tools for accessing, browsing and editing content remotely. We’ll also showcase the C-Cast solution for second-screen delivery.

We’ll also be launching a range of new production asset management (PAM) capabilities for sports centres. These include:
·    intuitive software and web browsing tools in the IPDirector suite of video production management applications to enable integrated multi-site operations
·    real-time timeline editing features based on Xedio CleanEdit
·    new live logging tools including an app-based logging solution..

To facilitate OB operations, we’re introducing a range of new tools for operators including a new user interface for LSM operators. These tools are based on a multi-touch sensing tablet that's fully integrated into the LSM remote control panel and other advanced timeline editing features for the LSM.

EVS Entertainment will showcase the full power of the XS server with advanced multi-codec support including XDCam HD, for flexible TV entertainment production workflows.

Discover XFly Streamer, which is designed to stream an entire production with multiple camera angles onto a portable storage platform to speed up recording for multi-camera OB productions and facilitate access to post production.

Come and see the latest features of IPDirector for faster and more efficient post production operations including:
·    The advanced Director’s Cut feature for IPDirector featuring native integration with all video switchers allowing you to stream programmes along with all associated camera angles to post production
·    The latest integration tools for Adobe Premiere Pro craft editing systems

EVS News’ multi-source solutions deliver efficient production workflows for live news.

At the EVS booth, you’ll see new extended timeline editing capabilities in IPDirector for fast-turnaround story building. We’re introducing new software and web-based solutions that enable advanced collaborative capabilities for remote browsing and production across multiple sites.

We’ll also showcase the full power of the XS server with advanced native multi-codec support including XDCam HD.

There will also be demos featuring some of our recent integration with key technology partners - including AP ENPS, the Adobe Premiere Pro editing suite and Mosart automation tools.

EVS Media helps content owners manage and monetise file-based assets throughout their lifecycle.

At NAB, we’ll be launching a new version of the OpenCube suite with the ability to master MXF JPEG 2000 files in a mezzanine format for production and archive. It provides support for HD, 2K and 4K files, and faster than real-time JPEG 2000 encoding for studios, broadcasters, post-production houses and archives. The OpenCube solution now manages full IMF format support, which is ideal for master JPEG 2000 files and associated metadata support in post-production workflows.

We’ll also be showcasing IP2Archive, a set of tools that offer a perfect bridge between our production content management suite, IPDirector, and any sports archive libraries for import and export during production.
