“We’ll start by taking a look at how d&b arrived at the Y-Series, which comprises both point source and line array loudspeakers,” explains Steve Jones of d&b GB Education and Application Support.“ We’ll then focus on the Y7P and Y10P point sources and what makes them so special; we’ll also be listening to them with the B6-SUB, a single 18” bass-reflex design with a frequency response down to 37 Hz. Then we’ll delve into the line source line up, have a listen, add the cardioid Y-SUB … then turn it up.”

“Y should you come?” Steve asks, “Because the Y-Series can handle just about any type of job in just about any type of venue; from the smallest gig with a single Y7P or Y10P point source, to a large event with a Y8 and Y12 line array.”
