CT Investment in Digital Audio Platform D-Mitri from Meyer Sound

Providing a true real-time networking environment for show control, the D-Mitri system features multi-channel audio and simultaneous multichannel recording and playback. The extensive programmability and automation employs established open standards IEEE 802.1 AVB, OSC, and Python scripting, while the modular and easy to expand D-Mitri system provides 48 Audio inputs and 72 outputs, numerous control ports and is capable of simultaneous recording and playback of 72 Audio channels in real-time. High-resolution audio is processed with 96 kHz sample rate and up to 64-bit floating-point processing and 24-bit A/D/A conversion. Since its release last year the D-Mitri system’s superior capabilities have been used in numerous musical and show productions as well as in world famous theme parks all over the world.

Now offered out of Creative Technology Germany’s office, the system will make its CT debut appearance at the exhibition stand of the Audi AG at the IAA 2011 in Frankfurt. CT Germany is responsible for the entire audiovisual installation at for the stand and the system will complete the audio and digital audio signage setup that will utilise Meyer Sound systems.

The official contract was signed together with John and Helen Meyer, owner and founder of Meyer Sound, between Sascha Khelifa, managing director Meyer Sound Germany and Georg Rössler.
