CROSSCAST Introduces the X-Stream Mobile Production Truck

The X-Stream mobile truck is based on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis, providing a new powerful broadcasting tool to the industry with its flexible production unit and internet streaming technologies. With up to six operator workspaces (director, vision mixer, editor, video and audio operators), the X-Stream can handle on its own a total of six cameras (broadcast- and/or high speed cameras) via fiber connection to produce small and mid-sized live broadcasts. A Riedel communication system with multiple interfaces, as well as, communication to the camera operators and tally light demonstrates CROSSCAST’s professional approach. Additionally, the X-Stream mobile truck has adequate space for several EVS video servers and devices for live streaming services.

The complete technical environment of the mobile truck is integrated into a uniquely developed production unit, which allows the user to produce from within or independently of the truck. Especially for trade fairs, concerts and special events, this approach is in great demand due to its extremely reduced set up time and flexibility of the production unit to ‘get close’ while on location. Additionally, the truck can navigate rough terrain to access difficult broadcasting locations.

The X-Stream has already had its maiden voyage by broadcasting several talk- and award shows.
