Certified Partner Optocore Develops First Glass-Fibre Interface for RTS Systems

 Two versions of the RTS interface are available: the V3R-FX-INTERCOM and the X6R-FX-INTERCOM

With the V3R-FX-INTERCOM for RTS and the X6R-FX-INTERCOM for RTS, RTS certified partner Optocore is presenting the first glass-fibre interfaces for RTS systems.

The devices developed by the firm based in Gräfelfing near Munich allow users spatially near-unlimited communication – with extremely low susceptibility to interference – between RTS keypanels and matrices. Both interfaces are compatible not only with all RTS devices but also with all Optocore devices.

The RTS interfaces from Optocore are available in two versions: the V3R-FX-INTERCOM for RTS is equipped with four matrix and four keypanel ports, whilst the X6R-FX-INTERCOM offers 8 + 8 ports. The RJ45 portpin-out is compatible with all RTS devices. Both products can make use of already installed Optocore glass-fibre infrastructures to carry the audio and data signals.

Both the V3R-FX-INTERCOM for RTS and the X6R-FX-INTERCOM for RTS can be integrated into an Optocore optical digital network system; the input audio signals can be routed or converted to MADI, AES/EBU or line outputs. Furthermore, the Optocore control software allows connectivity between each individual intercom channel and each intercom device within the network.

RTS is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of intercom solutions. From the Advanced Digital Audio Matrix systems used to coordinate major network broadcasts of the world’s largest events to small-format systems used for in-house productions, RTS is dedicated to innovating the future of global communications.
