RobyCam is an aerial cable system that offers a combination of robotic winches, gyrostabilized camera heads and advanced computational algorithms, which allow a camera to follow literally any 3D trajectory within the working area.
Since its introduction into the market in 2008 the system gets a lot of attention around the world and has been successfully used in sports, concerts and other major events. Recent productions include, but are not limited to: FINA Swimming World Championships 2015, Russia; The X-Factor, Italy 2015; Coppa Italia Final 2015, Italy, several major concerts in Japan and covering the sermons during the Holy Month of Ramadan in the Sheik Zahid Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the biggest mosque in the United Arab Emirates.
Apart from Robycam, the portfolio of Movicom includes rail and cable camera systems and gyrostabilized camera heads of different sizes, ranging from Polecam-compatible to heads for studio cameras.
