Broadcast Networks Appoints Paul Wallis as Sales Director

Paul will be based at Broadcast Networks’ headquarters in Alton, UK and will be joining the team at NAB 11-14 April 2011

Systems Integration specialist Broadcast Networks today announces the appointment of Paul Wallis as sales director. This move represents the company’s strategy of continued growth and the expansion of its international presence.

In his new role, Paul will oversee worldwide sales and business development for the leading independent Systems Integrator, working closely with both customers and partners to deliver innovative broadcast and media solutions.

With a strong product, sales and general management background, Paul brings a wealth of experience gained from over 20 years in the broadcast sector; working for Sony Broadcast and Professional Europe, Pixel Power and most recently as managing director of O-Video Ltd, where he led the company’s expansion into Eastern Europe.

“We are delighted that Paul is joining our management team,” said Tom Haye, managing director of Broadcast Networks. “2010 was a record year for our business, with the completion of seventeen OB and DSNG vehicles and a number of international projects underway, including the expansion of Chellomedia’s multi-platform play-out centre. With a steadfast focus on the customer service, Paul will help us continue to strengthen our relationships with customers and partners alike.”

Paul said “I began my sales career in 1989 at Sony, reporting to Jan Haye, who founded Broadcast Networks. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring our team back together.”
