AXON Expands Sales Force with Key Appointments
(30/03/2011) On the back of exceptional sales growth, Netherlands-based AV conversion, processing and compliance recording specialist Axon Digital Design has announced two key appointments to its international sales team – Felix Ng and Craig Newbury. Last year saw the company register 25% growth in revenues compared with 2009 sales and positions Axon as the leading supplier of signal processing equipment (digital glue) in HD & 3D OB vans (source: live-production.tv).
In order to sustain this growth and enhance customer contact, Axon has expanded its international sales force through the appointment of Felix Ng as Sales Director for South East Asia region and Craig Newbury as Sales Manager for the United Kingdom.
Felix Ng joins Axon from Grass Valley Singapore where he was Regional Key Account Manager responsible for the Asia Pacific region. Ng will work from Axon’s Singapore office, which will open for business in March. The establishment of an Axon office in Singapore underlines the company’s ambition to grow its presence in the South East Asian market. Felix Ng will report to Axon’s Managing Director Asia, Liming Fu.
Craig Newbury brings a wealth of broadcast industry sales experience to Axon, having previously worked for Amberfin and Snell as well as holding positions within Ascent Media and Technicolor. Newbury will report to Axon’s UK regional sales manager, Bill Leadbetter and becomes the eighth executive to join Axon’s UK office reflecting the strategic importance of the UK market to Axon.
