Adder Technology to showcase benefits of IP workflow at CABSAT2016

Adder Technology, the high performance KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) specialist, will be focusing on the flexible and resilient benefits of IP in the broadcast space at this year’s CABSAT event from 8-10 March.

Adder will be demonstrating to visitors the performance, flexibility and ROI that IP-based KVM can bring to broadcast operations, from gallery control and outside broadcast, to the post production suite, by showcasing a range of KVM, extension and connectivity solutions.

A highlight from Adder Technology will be the AdderLink Infinity Dual 2020, a dual head, single link digital KVM extender that forms part of the award winning AdderLink Infinity matrix; as well as the latest iteration — version 4.0 —  of the AdderLink Infinity Manager (A.I.M). A.I.M is a powerful server management solution featuring a new hardware platform with more power than previous versions and features multi-subnet operation.

Also demonstrated will be the newly launched AdderView DDX30, Adder’s latest direct connect innovation in high performance KVM. The DDX matrix is compact, has a choice of DVI and DisplayPort transmitters, and provides beyond HD resolution (up to 1920x1200) at 60FPS. The matrix offers extension distances of up to 50 metres from the switch, over a single CATx cable. It also features transparent EDID management, full-speed USB, and an intuitive GUI with thumbnail displays of computer sources.

“We’re looking forward to CABSAT as it’s the perfect platform to showcase the capabilities of our high performance KVM in this leading market and really demonstrate how our products are meeting the needs and challenges of our customers and the industry at large,” says Jamie Shepperd, group marketing manager, Adder Technology.
