Stereolabs Supports 3-D Coverage of Etam Fashion Show

Paris Fashion Week opened with a live 3-D transmission of the Etam Fashion Show to more than 20 cinemas in France

AMP Visual TV, provider of outside broadcast services, paired with leading 3D equipment provider Stereolabs to shoot in 3D the Etam Fashion Show which opened the famous Paris Fashion Week on February 24. The show featured live performances by Lily Allen, Lykke Li, Rita Ora, Selah Sue and M.I.A. It was transmitted live to more than 20 cinemas in France and on the internet.

AMP Visual TV selected Stereolabs and rig provider Microfilms to support the 3D coverage. After the successful productions of French Tennis Open and London Olympics with Euromedia Group in 2012, Stereolabs and Microfilms partnered again to deliver a fully automated workflow to AMP, with PURE systems and Total Control rigs seamlessly integrated. The proven workflow achieved record set-up time. In half a day, the AMP 8-camera OB Van was ready to shoot, showing a significant improvement in 3D production workflows.
