See 3D Processing Possibilities at IBC with TV One

3D Processing by TV One

TV One will be demonstrating 3D processing possibilities at the IBC 2010 Exhibition being held in Amsterdam next month on Stand 7.C27. Using the exclusive CORIO® Technology, TV One will be showing how their products can accept and process 3D resolutions and also provide additional capabilities.

3D processing will be shown throughout the IBC Exhibition on the TV One Stand with running demonstrations of a CORIO® product being fed live video from two standard 2D 1080p Cameras sources. These 2 inputs will be processed within the TV One unit to produce a single 3D image of live video which will be output to a 3D monitor.

The ability to insert picture-in-picture windows of 2D images such as logos and computer graphics so that they appear “floating” in front of a background 3D video source will also be demonstrated during the exhibition. Independent scaling of existing 3D resolutions and transcoding between the various types of 3D resolutions for alternative transmission methods is also possible using CORIO® products.

Steven Mattingly, Managing Director of TV One Ltd, states “IBC is the pinnacle show of the Broadcast industry within Europe and it is a valuable time for us to gather market feedback and research. We welcome all input from industry peers and invite them to visit us at IBC and discuss what they want from future 3D development.”

The Technical Sales Team will be available during the IBC show to discuss possibilities of future products and features within the CORIO® range from TV One on Stand 7.C27
