Fusion 3D Captures all NBA Final Games in Two Cities

CAMERON – PACE Group’s FUSION 3D Systems Captured The NBA Finals, Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks in Dallas and Miami

Emmy Award-winning CAMERON – PACE Group (CPG) announces their FUSION 3D systems captured all NBA Finals Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks games in Dallas, Texas and Miami, Florida. The company delivered 24 FUSION 3D systems in total, 12 FUSION 3D systems per game and one state-of-the-art 48 foot workflow unit, Shadow One™ for the live 3D HD broadcasts.

As one of the year’s most watched sporting events, the games aired in live 3D HD from May 31st to June 12th in the US on the ESPN 3D network and across the globe on the ESPN International network in locations such as the United Kingdom, Asia, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Sub-Saharan Africa, Caribbean, Brazil and Latin America.

This production marked the first-ever live televised 3D HD broadcast of the NBA Finals and use of duplicate FUSION 3D systems to cover NBA games in two US cities. CAMERON – PACE Group’s (formerly PACE) has a long history of capturing NBA games in live 3D HD and has worked on other highly acclaimed live 3D HD broadcasts including the 2011 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles.

CAMERON – PACE Group is currently collaborating with ESPN to supply FUSION 3D for live 3D sports productions throughout the US on the ESPN 3D network.
