The First 3D OBVan in China

Sony China 3D OBVan

In 2011 Sony China Professional Group produced the first 3D OBVan in China. Soon after its presentation to the public, Sony China introduced its 3D solutions to the Chinese market and collaborated with TV Stations in joint 3D productions.

Sony visited more than 20 TV Stations (e.g. CCTV, FJTV, SZTV and Tianjin TV)  with this 3D OBVan and carried out many sports programs and impressive variety shows which all were broadcasted in 3D. These productions established the 3D OBVan  as a good reference in the Chinese broadcast market.

Already in 2010 Sony China delivered successfully a 3D solution for the ShangHai International EXPO. Building on this success Sony China has won several 3D system projects in 2011. China Central Television (CCTV) will launch its first 3D TV channel in 2012. Sony will continue to lead the international built-up of 3D applications and with the development of 3D productions in China, Sony China will provide more 3D system solutions for the expanding Chinese market.
