The 3D Revolution Conference is back at BVE

With big budget 3D productions continuing to dominate our cinema screens plus the ever-increasing presence of 3D technology in our homes, it's clear that 3D will continue to be a consideration for production and content delivery professionals for the foreseeable future. The 3D Revolution Theatre provides the perfect forum to keep up to date with this ever-evolving medium.

Following an exciting 12 months in UK 3D broadcasting and filmmaking, the conference has a packed agenda of the hottest topics on the subject.

The conference will welcome William Sargeant, Founder of award winning post production house Framestore to open the 3D programme this year. Other key highlights include a presentation from Ruth Sessions of Atlantic Productions sharing the experience of producing The Bachelor King 3D with David Attenborough where stunning 3D cinematography takes us into an extraordinary sub-Antarctic island, home to majestic albatrosses, brawling elephant seals - and six million penguins.

The BBC’s Planet Dinosaur tells the stories of the biggest and deadliest creatures to walk the Earth. BBC Series Producer Nigel Paterson and Creative Director of Jellyfish Pictures, Phil Dobree, discussing how it was decided whether the programme was made a mono or stereo solution.

Please note: All BVE sessions are free of charge but those in the 3D Revolution Theatre do require tickets for entry. Tickets are available from the Seminar Registration desk located inside the hall from 09:30 on each day for sessions before 1pm and after 12:30pm for sessions in the afternoon. There will be a maximum of 2 morning and 2 afternoon tickets per person per day.
